Best Photo Aperture: f/4.5 Shutter Speed: 1/250 ISO: 400 This shooting assignment I chose to do black and white pictures, that showed that even pictures that have little color, can still be portrayed as amazing photos. I learned during this experience that black and white pictures can show a great amount of detail in a photo, for example, my best photo showed great detail in the webs on the flower giving it more detail, and making it a great picture. The editing on this photo was used a lot in creating this photo, by using the Camera Raw Filter and adjusting the shadow and highlights, creating a great photo.

This photoshop assignment we learned to capture a photo of someone in the class. The end result would be two 2 photos to use in the assignment. One of a person using studio lights and the other using the window/bounce card technique. I learned much about what studio light was and how it can make a picture really amazing.
Best Photo Aperture: f/3.5 Shutter Speed: 1/800 ISO: 100 This shooting assignment I looked for unique architecture features of buildings and structures that caught my eye. So I went to downtown of Ann Arbor, near campus, were I found amazing buildings with different styles and forms that I never noticed before. What I learned during this shoot was that, there are many amazing buildings out there and sometimes you just have to look up to find what your looking for. The editing I did on this photo was to bring more contrast and color into the building. Best Photo Aperture: f/3.5 Shutter Speed: 1/80 ISO: 100 This shooting assignment I decided to do nature and landscape because of the wonderful season of fall and its beautiful fall colors. So I went to a farm and took pictures of its vast land mass and colors. This photo assignment I learned that no matter where you are, like a broken down farmhouse, you can make a picture something special. The editing I did on this photo was bringing out the color in the grass and plants. Before After This assigment we learned how we can photoshop a car and make it more better and fix the background.
Best Photo Aperture: f/4.0 Shutter Speed: 1/15 ISO: 400 This second shooting assignment taught me more about how food can be used to create wonderful, amazing, and mouth watering pictures. I knew that when looking for a specific picture that would grab the audiences attention that I needed to find food that was filled with color and sweetness so It made me think of my grandmas maple cupcakes. The editing on this photo was just bringing out the color in the sprinkles and its background. This assignment taught me a lot about how food can be used to create photos that would make your day. Pop Art Original This pop art assignment taught me a lot of what pop art means and how it can be used for many different reasons.Even though I was really struggling at times, I did learn much about how to not only use pop art but even photoshop.
Best Photo Aperture: f/5.6 Shutter: 1/60 ISO: 100 This shooting assignment taught me a lot more about what Macro means, and what it can do to a picture. This picture grabbed my attention, it showed the many different compositions like the lines and the depth of field on the stem. This experience was fun and challenging at the same time, just finding a picture at a time when weather was a major factor was hard, but once I had a little patience it came out just fine. The editing on this photo was really little, just creating a darker tone and a little light on the background. |
